Sorrento
Heart of the Shuswap
Named by Kinghorn, an early settler because the area reminded him of Sorrento, Italy. Sitting at the heart of the Shuswap, enjoy Shuswap Lake for summer fun; Adams River salmon run in the fall. A bird watchers paradise, scenery to delight, a place for painters, photographers, yet a divers dream with local diving companies. Historical Notch Hill Town, Fords Corral Museum, Kinghorn House and Old church you can take a step back in history, or golf and dine in the best spots around. B & B’s are the best in country hospitality. Sorrento has something for every one in summer and winter.
